We are a small project with a big vision and unlimited potential. Our ultimate goal is to end plastic pollution, starting with our island.
Our Mission: The First 100% Plastic Recycling Local Island in the Maldives.
To achieve this, we have a clear roadmap. We are focused on scaling our operations, educating our community, and building a network of passionate partners.
Our Goals
Upgrade Equipment
To scale up, we need better equipment. This will allow us to recycle more plastic, create a wider variety of higher-quality products, and offer custom items for local businesses. Upgraded equipment means more plastic saved from our oceans.
Plastic Recycling Workshops
We want to share our knowledge with everyone. We plan to host market demonstrations, school presentations, and full-day eco-tourism experiences that include beach cleanups and creating your own recycled jewellery.
Network Growth
A sustainable future can't be built alone. We will expand our local team, collaborate with resorts to stock our products and host workshops, and work with other sustainable initiatives across the Maldives.
Sustainability Hub
We envision a dedicated space for recycling on the island. This hub will feature an interactive workshop and retail shop open to the public, where visitors can browse our collection and watch the recycling process live.
Collection Points
To reach the whole island, we will establish dedicated plastic recycling collection points and place additional bins near beaches to encourage and simplify independent beach cleaning efforts by residents and visitors alike.
Community Projects
We are committed to giving back directly to our island. We will create recycled plastic furniture like benches for public areas, make classroom materials like rulers, and host community clean-up events with the local council and school.
From One Island to All Islands
Our vision doesn't stop here. We aim to replicate this model and grow across the Maldives, empowering every island to achieve 100% plastic recycling. A sustainable future takes communities, businesses, and people working together towards a shared goal.
